AED Training -- Friday June 12, 6 p.m. FREEIn case of a heart attack, the pool has an AED, or Automatic External Defibrillator, located on the outside wall of the lifeguard office. A trainer will be at the pool Friday, June 12 to familiarize pool members with how to use this machine. The session lasts 30 minutes and is FREE. Join us. Pool HoursThe pool is open weekdays from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM through Tuesday June 16 and weekends 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Starting June 17, the pool will be open 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM everyday. The pool is closed September 8th to the 11th and open on September 12 and 13 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Membership Mailing ListSign-up if you are a Palisades Pool member and you want to receive information via e-mail about pool business, such as dues info. Membership ApplicationComplete and submit the membership application to get on the waiting list to become a Palisades Swimming Pool Association member. Renovation UpdateThe approved renovations drawing has been posted. Visit the renovation page for information on the renovation. Lending LibraryOur Lending Library is back in operation. Feel free to take a book off our community library book shelf located in the breezeway by the men's changing room. And, if you have books to donate, just bring them to the pool and put them on the book shelf. VolunteersPalisades is a Volunteer Organization. We are looking for members to join the Board in various capacities. Please contact individual board members for more information. Lifeguard and Front Desk JobsApply online for lifeguard and front desk positions at Georgetown Aquatics. Community Service HoursYour teenagers can earn community service credit by helping out at pool functions. Teens can help out at swim meets by timing, working at the snack bar, writing ribbons etc. Our social chairs are always in needs of teens willing to supervise the moon bounce, do face painting for the younger crowd, and help with cleanup.
